In 2005, Nissan introduced the Serena minivan to the market of the next, third generation in order, with the factory marking "C25". In 2008, the car, which was sold only in Japan, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Brunei, was slightly updated - the exterior and interior were updated, leaving out the technical component. At home, the five-door was offered until the end of 2010, and left the export markets in 2011.

"Serena" of the third generation appears in the segment of minivans with an eight-seater configuration of interior decoration and has the following dimensions of a five-door body: 4650 mm in length, 1840 mm in height and 1695 mm in width.

The wheelsets of the car are 2860 mm apart from each other, and the ground clearance fits into 160 mm.

The curb weight of the "Japanese" fits in 1610-1690 kg, depending on the modification.

Specifications. On the “third” Nissan Serena, you can find only one gasoline engine - an atmospheric inline “four” with a volume of 2.0 liters with a distributed power function and 16 valves in the timing belt, producing 137 horsepower at 5200 rpm and 195 Nm of torque at 4800 rpm.
The engine was docked with a continuously variable Xtronic variator and front or all-wheel drive with a standard distribution of torque along the axles in a percentage of "70 to 30" (this proportion is influenced by driving conditions and the condition of the coating).

"Serena" of the third incarnation is based on a front-wheel drive "bogie" with a supporting body structure and a power plant located in the transverse direction. An independent MacPherson struts architecture is involved in the front of the car, and a semi-independent suspension with a torsion beam is used at the rear.
The steering system on the minivan is represented by a rack and pinion mechanism and a hydraulic control amplifier. All four wheels of the "Japanese" are equipped with disc brakes with ABS and other assisting electronics.

The third "release" of Nissan Serena is distinguished by its unusual appearance, roomy decoration, wide indicators of interior transformation, a moderately powerful engine, high structural reliability, good equipment and a comfortable suspension.
The advantages are opposed by weak dynamic characteristics and expensive maintenance.
