In 2017, the car celebrated its 45th birthday, and in honor of such a memorable event - in Ulyanovsk prepared its jubilee version of "45 years of the legend", which was presented to a wide audience on August 24.
Outside, the special series "45th Anniversary UAZ Hunter" stands out against the background of the "standard brother" only in the body color: it itself is covered with gray-green paint, the roof is glossy white, and the door extensions, the front glass frame, the luggage cover and the pillars are matte black. In addition, the SUV has 16-inch wheels with "white tint" wheels.
The weight and size characteristics of the “jubilee” UAZ Hunter are identical to those of the regular model: 4100 mm in length, 2010 mm in width and 2025 mm in height. Its center-to-center distance is 2380 mm, and the ground clearance is 210 mm.
The curb weight of the car does not exceed 1845 kg, and its maximum permissible weight is 2520 kg.
Inside, the “Hunter” in the jubilee version can be recognized by the front panel painted in the same color with the body (gray-green), a special emblem with the serial designation of the car in the series, located on the dashboard near the passenger's handle, and the seats, which are dressed in durable fabric with water-repellent impregnation.
Otherwise, it is the same utility SUV with an old-fashioned design, simple finishing materials, a five-seater layout and a cargo compartment with a capacity of 1130 to 2564 liters (it is accessed via a classic tailgate and a lifting top section instead of a one-piece swing door).
In technical terms, the "jubilee" UAZ Hunter does not differ from the base "brother" - under its hood is a four-cylinder gasoline "aspirated" ZMZ-409.10 with a volume of 2.7 liters, which generates 128 hp. at 4600 rpm and 210 N • m peak thrust at 2500 rpm.
It works together with a "manual" gearbox for five gears and all-wheel drive "Part-time" with a hard-starting front axle, a 2-stage "transfer case", "downshift" and three modes of operation (2H; 4H; 4L).
In "running" disciplines, the special series of an off-road vehicle repeats the standard model: it gains the first "hundred" in 35 seconds, accelerates to 130 km / h and consumes over 13 liters of fuel in combined conditions.
The same applies to "all-terrain" exercises: the depth of the forced ford with a hard bottom at the car is 500 mm, and the angles of entry and exit reach respectively 30 and 33 degrees.
The anniversary version of "Hunter" is based on a ladder frame, to which an all-metal body and a motor (in the longitudinal direction) are attached. "In a circle" the car is equipped with continuous bridges (in the "classic" five-door - bridges with a split crankcase), suspended by means of semi-elliptical leaf springs.
The SUV is equipped with a power steering and a braking system, which includes disc devices at the front and simple "drums" at the rear.
In total, the "jubilee" UAZ Hunter 2017 will be released in a circulation of 469 copies, for each of which buyers will have to pay 699,999 rubles.
In the "base" the car boasts: front and rear seat belts, 16-inch steel wheels, power steering, rear-view mirrors, fabric seat upholstery, three-color body paint and some other equipment.
